An extraordinary conference on Palestine land redemption will be convoked at the Hotel Pennsylvania next Sunday to consider the problem in the light of the growing influx of Jewish immigrants and refugees into the Holy Land, it was announced yesterday by the Jewish National Fund of America, which will sponsor the gathering.
Delegates and representatives of hundreds of fraternal societies, congregations, mutual benefit organizations and landsmanschaft groups will attend. A special invitation has been sent out by the conference committee, of which Nathan D. Perlman, former member of the House of Representatives and vice-president of the American Jewish Congress, is chairman. Mr. Perlman will preside.
Speakers at the parley will include Dr. Israel Goldstein, rabbi of Congregation B’nai Jeshurun; Dr. Samuel Margoshes, editor of the Day, and Jacob Fishman, managing editor of the Morning Journal.
