A farewell supper in honor of Dr. Solomon Deutsch, Bronx dentist, one of the active leaders of JNF work in that borough, will take place tonight at the Farm Food Vegetarian Restaurant, 37 West Thirty-second street. Dr. Deutsch is sailing for Palestine next Sunday.
Dr. Deutsch, treasurer of the Jewish National Fund Council for Greater New York, has been active in the Zionist movement for the past twenty years. He proceeds to Palestine with his family with the intention of settling there permanently. Dr. Deutsch will reside in Natania, the orange plantation colony bearing the name of the late American Jewish philanthropist, Nathan Straus. He also expects to practice dentistry in Haifa.
The farewell party is being arranged under the auspices of the Jewish National Fund Council for Greater New York.
