Johnson Approves Baltimore Jew, Reuben Sternfeld, to New U.S. Post

President Johnson has approved appointment of Reuben Sternfeld, an expert on international development, as alternate U.S. executive director of the Inter-American Development Bank. Mr. Sternfeld, who attended Talmud Torah in Baltimore, visited Israel in the course of his duties with the U.S. Agency for International Development. He has been associate U.S. coordinator for the Alliance for Progress since 1965. In his new post at the Inter-American Development Bank, Mr. Sternfeld will serve as alternate to the director, True Davis.
