Johnston Returns to Israel; Confers with Sharett on Water Project

Ambassador Eric Johnston, President Elsenhower’s personal envoy to the Near East, arrived here today after conferences in the Arab states. He met with Premier Moshe Sharett and reported on tentative agreements reached with the Arab states. Tomorrow he will go to Tel Aviv to start a new series of talks with Israel water and power development experts.
