Joint Distribution Committee headquarters revealed that a second all -J.D.C. train will leave Switzerland for Poland within the next few weeks. Clothing aboard the train includes tens of thousands of shoes.
The hospital equipment en route to Poland takes up eleven full freight cars. Complete hospital facilities are included, in addition to blankets, sheets, towels, mattresses and beds. The supplies were purchased from surplus Army and Red Cross stocks as well as other sources on the continent. These supplies are in addition to the 2,500,000 pounds shipped to Polish Jews by the J.
