With the Israel-Egyptian border enjoying its second successive day of quiet, Israel’s frontier with Jordan erupted into violence again today. In the central Jordan valley, infiltrators from Jordan last night blew up several water installations, cut a telephone line, blasted a fish pond and partially destroyed a truck. All the damage was either at or between the Israel settlements of Tirat Zvi and Sdeh Eliyahu. The tracks of six men were traced back to the Jordan border by Israel police this morning.
