Joseph L. Gidwitz was today re-elected president of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. Re-elected as vice-presidents were A.D. Davis and Robert E. Straus. Sigmund Kunstandter was elected a vice-president.
Samuel A. Goldsmith who last week received the Julius Rosenwald Memorial Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Jewish Federation, was re-elected executive vice-president. Also re-elected were treasurer John H. Newman and secretary John S. Wiheman.
