Announcement of the election of Joseph M. Tanenbaum of Toronto to the board of directors of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was made today by Robert H. Arnow, president.
Mr. Tanenbaum, au industrialist and philanthropist, is one of the active younger leaders being developed by the Canadian Jewish community. He maintains an active interest in local Jewish affairs as well as in the national and world scenes. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he has also been active in industrial accident prevention programs.
