The Association for Jewish Youth, which provides holiday and sports facilities for ### than 5,000 Jewish boys and girls in London, is one of the few selected national juvenile organizations to have received a grant of £200 from the King George’s Jubilee Trust.
The grant is part of the contribution from the Fund which the Prince of Wales has, with the special approval of the King, decided to sanction in aid of organized camping holidays for boys and girls who are unable to afford holidays of their own.
The Association of Jewish Youth watches over the activities of fourteen boys’ and twelve girls’ clubs and, in addition, provides sports equipment for Jewish schools in London. It has recently purchased a holiday camping ground at Stapleford Abbots in Essex, twenty miles out of London.
