Judaism and Christianity differ not only in theology and forms of worship but also in culture and point of view, declared Dr. Solomon Grayzel of Gratz College in his lecture last night on “The Jews and Modern Christianity” delivered at the forum of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn.

Commenting on conditions in Germany, Dr. Grayzel said that “in times of stress and national need a god of force is needed. Therefore, the Nazis hark back to Wotan and Thor. They want to obliterate the differences between Catholic and Protestant and unite their people under the rule of a tribal god.” The common danger that faces both Christian and Jewish people may cause Christians to take up the defense of the Jew. “It may be that the day will come when the Jews will preach Christianity to Christians in order to defend it against attacks of modern paganism.”
