“Judaism is not only a religion, nor a brotherhood, nor yet a nationality, but the fundamental traditions of our people,” asserted Rabbi Milton Berman of the Free Synagogue in a speech to the Women’s League for Palestine yesterday at Temple Emanu-El, 1 East Sixty-fifth street.
Mrs. Richard Gottheil spoke on the “Importance of Knowing History.” Mrs. A. P. Kaplan also spoke. Entertainment was provided by Sylvia Cyde, singer, accompanied by Irene Gruenberg.
