Dr. M. Silber, Justice of Israel’s High Court, was today awarded the Tel Aviv municipal Bialik Prize for Jewish studies. The award was made for his study of “The Law of Personal Status in Israel.”
No prize was awarded in belles lettres, another field in which the Bialik Prize is given. The jury decided that none of the entries this year were worthy of an award.
