A “Fuld Memorial Lecture” will be delivered here next Monday night by Judge Horace Stern, of Philadelphia.
The lecture will be in memory of the late Felix Fuld, merchant and philanthropist, who died several years ago, and it will be given in Fuld Hall in the Y.M.-Y.W.H.A. Building. Among other causes Mr. Fuld was devoted to the Jewish Community Center Movement, and at the time of his death was president of the New Jersey Federation of Y.M.H.A.’s and Y.W.H.A.’s and treasurer of the Newark “Y”.
Judge Stern will discuss the plan he advanced some time ago for reorganization and centralization of Jewish communal endeavor through the synagogue. The plan caused considerable comment and later formed the basis of a questionnaire sent out by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
