The Jewish center idea of American Jewish origin has been adopted by the Jewish community in the Jugoslav capital.
On April 21, the official dedication of the Jewish community building in this city will take place. It is expected that the King and members of the government and of the municipality will attend the dedication exercises.
The building is of Byzantine style and was erected at a cost of over 1,000,000 Dinar. It contains a number of meeting rooms, classrooms for the religious eschool, club rooms, offices for the cultural and religious institutions, and is counted among the most beautiful buildings in Belgrade.
