Funeral services for Samuel Solomon, 87, a junk dealer in southern Illinois for almost a half a century, were held yesterday.
Solomon lived in the heart of the old ghetto district for the last fifteen years. he retired twenty years ago. Surviving are his widow, seven children, twenty-eight goran-children and fourteen great-grand-children.
