Funeral services were held here yesterday for Justice Hyman Morris Bloch, an outstanding lawyer and Zionist leader, who died after a long illness. He had been an honorary president of the United Jewish Appeal and a member of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies.
Justice Bloch was elevated to the Supreme Court in 1958. Six of his colleagues on the bench acted as pallbearers at the funeral, which was attended by hundreds of mourners, including members of the Cabinet.
