Speaking before the Southeastern Zionist Conference yesterday, Edmund I. Kaufmann, president of the Zionist Organization of America, pleaded for the strengthening of the Zionist organization in preparation for the eventual peace. A goal of $50,000 for the Jewish National Fund was set. Mendel N. Fisher, executive director of the J.N.F., and Rabbi Isadore Breslau, executive director of the Z.O.A. were among other speakers of the two-day meeting.
