Harry T. Kellman of Baltimore was reelected president of the Seaboard Zionist Region for 1930 at the concluding business session of the organization’s eighth annual conference.
Isidore Hirshfield, Washington; H. L. Caplan, Baltimore, and J. Silverstein, Baltimore, were chosen vice-presidents. Simon J. Levin, Baltimore, was reelected executive secretary, while Simon Land, Baltimore, was elected treasurer and Jacob Hackman, Richmond, Va., state chairman. Mrs. Israel Shapiro, Baltimore, was reelected president of the Seaboard Hadassah regional unit.
Reports at the meetings yesterday of the Junior Hadassah regional unit and the North Carolina State Zionist organization showed that a substantial increase in Zionist work had been accomplished by these organizations during the past year. In her annual report, Mrs. Shapiro laid emphasis on continued activity by the Hadassah members.
