A man who was justice minister in Kiel, the capital of the West German state of Schleswig-Holstein, is under investigation by a court here for alleged participation in the murder of Polish Jews during World War II. Hans Adolf Asbach was accused of participation in the murder of at least 700 of the 1,148 Jews of Brzezanya, Galicia.
