Abdullah wrote to Bush on May 18, three days before Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s arrival to present his case for unilateral Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank. Israel is isolating the Palestinian Authority now that it is governed by Hamas, a terrorist group.
