Details of the visit to Israel of King Baudouin and Queen Fabiola of Belgium this Sunday were announced here today. The royal couple and their entourage, who are currently on a tour of the far East, will enter Jerusalem through the Mandelbaum Gate on Sunday morning, February 16 and will be welcomed there by Israeli President Salman Shazar.
They will then proceed to Haifa and, after spending the night at the Dan Carmel Hotel, will leave the following morning for Nazareth and, en route, will see the forest planted in honor of King Albert and Queen Elizabeth the present King’s grandparents. They will also view the newly inaugurated King Baudouin Forest.
