The eldest son of King Mohammed V of Morocco visited Yom Kippur services again this year, as he did last year.
Accompanied by a number of leading Moroccan personalities, Prince Moulay Hassan visited services at Gercle d’Alliance Israelite in Casablanca and conveyed to the worshippers his father’s greetings, recalling that the monarch had never discriminated among his subjects because of their race or religion.
The Prince’s party included Si Ahmed Bargach, Governor of Casablanca, and Dr. Leon Benzaquen, a leading Jew win formerly served as a Minister in the Cabinet.
