A tree purchased by King George V will be shipped to Palestine Friday for planting in the Jubilee Forest, project financed by the British Zionist Federation in honor of the monarch’s twenty-fifth anniversary on the British throne, it was announced here today.
The tree will be the first ever shipped from England to Palestine. It will be formally planted by Palestine High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope.
