The Israel Parliament today put its seal of approval on the transfer of the Foreign Ministry from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv when the members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee visited the Ministry and were guided about the buildings by Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett.
Several foreign missions in Israel, meanwhile, have acknowledged receipt of the Ministry’s notification of the transfer. The Greek envoy was the first foreign diplomat to visit the new offices and the Netherlands representative is expected to call later this week. The Yugoslav legation will be moved to Jerusalem when the Minister returns from a visit to Belgrade, it was learned today.
