Premier David Ben Gurion today received a vote of confidence from the Knesset on his request for authorization to buy munitions from the West. The vote was 69 to 13. The pro-Soviet Mapam party charged that the move would place Israel in the anti-Soviet camp. Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett earlier said that the purchase of the arms from the West would place Israel under no obligation.
