Dr. Felix Perles was appointed Professor of New Hebrew and Aramaic Literature at the University of Koenigsherg. Dr. Perles, the son of the famous German Rabbi and scholar, Joseph Perles, is a scholar of note and is the author of many works in the study of Jewish history. He is a graduate of the University of Munich, has studied at the Rabbinical Seminaries at Braslau and Vienna, and is an adherent of the Jewish national movement. He occupies the post of Rabbi in Koenigsberg since 1898.
