Teddy Kollek, Mayor of Jerusalem, has cabled congratulations to Sargent Shriver on his designation as Democratic candidate for vice-president, the office of the Israel Museum reported here today. Kollek, who is also chairman of the board of the museum, cited Shriver’s activities as chairman of the International Patrons of the museum in his congratulatory message.
“I hope your country and the world’s gain will not be a loss for the Israel Museum here in Jerusalem and that pressures of time will not prevent your continuing as head of the museum’s patron group,” the Mayor declared.
