Kosher meals will be served at the University of Dauphine which is located on the outskirts of this city. This is the first time in the history of French universities that kosher meals will be served in a general higher level education center. After lengthy negotiations with the university center’s director, the Jewish students obtained a separate meeting hall where they can meet and hold meetings and eat kosher food. More than 150 Jewish students were active last year at the meetings of the Interconfessional Students’ Association of the University. There is no separate Jewish students’ union here.
