The estate of Mrs. Isabella Kritzman, whose will was filed for probate in Manhattan Surrogate’s Court yesterday, formally valued at “over $10,000,”‘ listed specific cash bequests totaling $143,000. Mrs. Kritzman, widow of Samuel Kritzman, died October 19.
Mount Sinai Hospital is left $25,000, to be used for a surgical pavilion ward containing five beds known as the “Samuel and Isabella Kritzman beds.”
Sums of $5,000 each are left to the National Council of Jewish Women, the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind, and the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.
A total of $7,000 is bequeathed to two congregations for upkeep of the family mausoleum.
Henry Wolfenstein of 330 Wads-worth avenue, a brother, and Hattie Goldberg of 161 West Seventy-fifth street, a sister, receive $30,000 and $5,000 outright, respectively. Two other brothers, Isaac and Ephraim Wolfenstein of Flushing, L. I., each inherit $5,000 trust funds. Bequests of $10,000 apiece are made to William and Sol Cohen of 15 East Fifty-Eighth street, executors of the estate. Nineteen additional relatives, friends and employes get a total of $31,000 in varying sums.
The residue is divided equally among Montefiore Hospital, Hebrew Orphan Asylum and the Home for Aged and Infirm Hebrews, all of New York City, and the National Jewish Home for Consumptives in Denver, Col.
