The present officers, including Leonard Montefiore, president, were re-elected to their posts at a meeting of the Anglo-Jewish Association here yesterday.
Lucien Wolf, secretary of the Joint Foreign Committee, reporting on the work stated that no considerable changes are to be expected in the minorities’ petition procedure, as the result of the meeting of the Committee of Three just concluded in London. “Drastic changes in this procedure might not be of great advantage to us,” he stated.
Mr. Wolf added that he is watching the calendar reform question in the interests of the Jewish Sabbath fixity.
