Among those attending the luncheon were Moshe Sharett, former Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, now chairman of the Jewish Agency executive; London Ambassadors and counsellors of Israel, the United States and Ireland; Lord Graigton, Minister of State for Scotland; Lord Morrison, former Deputy Prime Minister; Lord Silkin, former Minister for Town and Country; and Sir Roger Stevens, Undersecretary of State in the Foreign Office. Others included members of both Houses of Parliament, and leading representatives of a number of Jewish organizations.
