Labor Members Quit Tel Aviv Board

The two labor representatives of the municipality of Tel Aviv resigned yesterday in protest against the action of the municipality police and of the British gendarmerie in interfering during the clash between organized and unorganized building trade laborers. In consequence of this clash, 25 persons were injured and 20 taken into custody, Of the latter, each was sentenced to a week’s imprisonment.

The Council of Palestine Jews has made representations to the authorities against the police.
