The labor shortage in the Jewish colonies of Palestine has become so acute, it was learned here today, that labor offices in Sharon have rushed delegates to the port of Haifa to catch newcomers as they debark from the incoming ships. Colonies the country over are raising the cry for laborers to help in harvesting the crops. The contrast between the wages earned in the colonies and those offered laborers in the urban centers is so great that farms have been deserted of hands.
