The national convention of the League for Labor Palestine opened this evening with an Oneg Shabbat at the Y.M.H.A. at which time Hayim Greenberg, editor of The Jewish Frontier, delivered the keynote address on “The Present Situation in Palestine.”
Saturday afternoon will be devoted to a round-table discussion of organizational problems of the league under the chairmanship of Miss Mirism Lipton of New York. Other speakers will include Dr. May Bere, of the Palestine labor delegation; Abraham G. Duker, editor of the Contemporary Jewish Record; Yitzchak Sankowsky of Philadelphia and Dr. Herman Seidel of Baltimore.
