The conference, held at the Hotel Astor under the sponsorship of the Jewish Labor Committee, was attended by about 60 representatives of unions, labor groups, fraternal organizations, the Workmen’s Circle, National Labor Committee for Palestine, Jewish national Workers Alliance, the Poale-Zion and Left Poale-Zion.
