Herbert H. Lehman, director general of UNRRA, will receive the annual award of the Fraternal League of the Jewish Education Committee, for the most significant contribution to the promotion of human brotherhood during the year.
The award was announced yesterday at the annual convention of the league, and will be presented at an unspecified date. Previous recipients have been the late President Roosevelt, Justice Frank Murphy, and Dr. Arthur H. Compton, noted physicist.
