A bequest of $150,000 for the Sadie and Arthur Lamport Foundation, to enable it to “enlarge its beneficial scope without regard to race, color or creed,” is included in the will of Arthur M. Lamport, banker and philanthropist, who died on Nov. 8. The will, dated Sept. 6, said the foundation had been formed “in order that I might thereby interest my children to continue the charitable activities in which I have been engaged during my lifetime.”
