The last group of some 5, 800 Egyptian prisoners of war will be repatriated tomorrow, it was announced here today.
The highest ranking prisoner remaining for tomorrow’s party is Gen. Digwi, who was captured at Khan Yunis. He will be returned together with his wife and daughter in the personal plane assigned to Maj. Gen. E. L. M. Burns, commander of the United Nations Emergency Force. Gen. Digwis wife underwent an emergency operation recently and Israeli physicians advised against permitting her to travel by car from the Israel base at Raffah to UNEF-held E1 Arish.
