The elementary schools in Bamberg, city of 50,000 population in Bavaria, are now entirely “judenfrei” (free of Jews), it was reported today by the Bayrische Ostmark, a Bavarian newspaper.
The paper expressed gratification that “purification” of the city’s elementary schools had been accomplished with the transfer of 37 Jewish children to a special “ghetto” school housed in the local synagogue.
Segregation of the Jewish school children is in accordance with a Ministry of Education decree early this year forcing Jewish communities to provide separate educational facilities.
