Alertness on the part of American Jews to the increased cooperation between anti-Semitic bigots in South America and the United States was recommended here this weekend by Maro Turkow, secretary-general of the South American executive of the World Jewish Congress.
Mr. Turkow who resides in Buenos Airos, visited this country to confer with Jewish community leaders on the mounting tide of anti-Semitism in Latin America. Speaking at a luncheon in his honor given by the WJC, he also called for increased cultural exchanges between the Jews of North and South America.
