A resolution appealing to the Soviet Government to implement the promise made in Paris last December by USSR Prime Minister Alexei Kosygin to permit Russian Jews who wish to do so to emigrate for reunification with their families, was adopted unanimously here today by the Interparliamentary Union of Latin America.
The resolution described the situation of the Soviet Jews and the discriminations practiced against them in the USSR. The measure also recommended that the national parliaments of all Latin American countries express to their governments their concern about the fate of Russia’s Jews.
