All emigrants from Russia, who are now in Latvia and are unable to obtain American visas by June 20th, will be repatriated to Russia according to a decision of the Latvian Minister of the Interior, made public today.
This decision will affect a considerable number of emigrants, mostly Jewish, who are here awaiting the opening of the new quota. These emigrants came from the farthermost parts of Russia in the hope of being able to get to America.
