Latvian prosecutors plan to charge a suspected Nazi war criminal with genocide and seek his extradition from Australia, according to local media reports. Konrad Kalejs would be the first person to face such charges since the nation won independence in 1991. Kalejs lives in Australia after being deported from the United States, Canada and Britain.
