The organization sponsoring the Latvian Jewish schools which use Yiddish as the chief langueage of instruction recently celebrated the fifteenth Jubillee of the extablishment of the first Yiddish school.
Today there are in Latvia, forty elementary schools and five seeondary schools in which Yiddish is the main language of instruction. More than 5,300 Jewish puplls are enrolled in these schools.
