Charles Laughton will sail from England early next month to appear in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s screen version of “The Barretts of Wimpole Street,” in which Norma Shearer and Fredric March will also have leading roles. Laughton, who has just completed an engagement in “Macbeth,” in London, is also scheduled to play in “Marie Antoinette” for M-G-M.
