Dr. Zalman Grinberg, chairman of the Central Committee of Liberated Jews of Germany, was honored here yesterday at a dinner given by the American ORT and the central board of the World ORT Union.
In an address praising the constructive aid offered by the ORT to the displaced news of Germany, Dr. Grinberg stressed the demoralizing effect of enforced idleness on the camp inmates and welcomed the opening of ORT shops and training centers in the displaced persons camps. He also pointed out that vocational and agricultural training as helping to prepare European Jews for a new life in Palestine.
