Negotiations for unity in the Zionist movement were begun several weeks ago in London by the Zionist Executive. The procedure adopted was to hold separate conferences between the Executive and the contending factions. First the Zionist Revisionists were called to meet the Executive in London.
Two conferences were held with the Revisionists, admittedly the most difficult which face the negotiators. While the communiques issued at the close of the meetings were non-committal, it was indicated that a basis had been reached for further negotiations.
