The funeral of Jacques Goldberg, manager of the Paris office of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency who was murdered by an eighteen year old clerk following the latter’s dismissal from the office, took place here on Friday. Rabbis Eisenstadt and Liber officiated.
Jacob Landau, Managing Director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Vladimir Jabotinsky and Rabbi Eisenstadt eulogized the late Mr. Goldberg, praising his singular devotion to the interests of the Jewish press and the J.T.A. work.
Many prominent leaders, including representatives of various organizations and the press, attended the services.
