The election of 13 leading American Jews to the board of governors of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, bringing the Americans on the board to 20, was announced here this week-end by the American Committee for the University, Weizmann Institute and the Haifa Technion.
The new members are: Prof. Albert Einstein, Jacob Blaustein, Frank Goldman, Samuel Eaasman, Dr. Julius Jarcho, Joseph M. Mazer, Henry Morgenthau, Jr., Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer, Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, Mark Sugarman, Edward M. M. Warburg and Philip G. Whitman.
