Ernest Bloch and Frederick Jacobi, composers, and Gerald Warburg, cellist, have joined the Mailamm Comittee on Musical Activities of which Lazar Saminsky and Joseph Achron are chairmen.
The organization, whose purpose is to promote music in Palestine and develop promising musical talent, is headed by Ossip Gabrilowitsch as honorary president; Mischa Elman, honorary vice-president and Mrs. Charles Zunser, president.
